One of Philadelphia’s most popular performers since 2001, Karen recently put down roots in New York City and is quickly making her mark in that city’s thriving cabaret scene.

Karen regularly performs at prestigious music venues and private events. Performance highlights include:

Karen recently debuted her new show “Cabaret Mixtape” at NYC’s prestigious venue The Metropolitan Room. Directed by Lina Koutrakos, with musical direction by Rick Jensen, "Cabaret Mixtape" is a musical homage to one of the quintessential pastimes of the 1980s and '90s. Karen revisits and reimagines the songs, the stories, and the memories associated with mixtape-making -- from Lilith Fair to lite rock, hair metal to boy bands.

Karen is the creator and star of the comedic cabaret show “Sex & the Single Singer,” which entertained sold-out audiences for over five years. She also created a cabaret tribute show to legendary Broadway lyricist Oscar Hammerstein II. Karen debuted the show to a sold-out audience at Mr. Hammerstein's historic, longtime home, Highland Farm, in Doylestown, PA (also Karen’s hometown).

Among other radio stations, Karen’s music airs on Philadelphia's acclaimed WXPN. She has been featured extensively in The Philadelphia Inquirer, as well as in Philadelphia Style Magazine, the Jewish Exponent, Cabaret Scenes, the Princeton Packet, and BUCKS Life Magazine. She has performed live on the NBC 10! Show and been featured on Channel 6ABC and on KYW Newsradio in Philadelphia.

Karen has recorded with three Grammy Award-winning producers: Glenn Barratt, Patrick Robinson, and Jim Cravero. Her music is available on iTunes, www.cdbaby.com, www.amazon.com and on the MUSIC page of this website.
